More information
Copper and bronze dominate the coloration, but the blooms fade markedly in very hot sun. The flowers are goblet-shaped, with about 35 petals and a diameter of approximately 9 cm. Fragrance is nearly absent. Blooms appear singly or in small clusters of up to 5. Flowering is plentiful, though not to the extent that the shrub is obscured. The plant forms a compact, symmetrical bush with strong basal stems, reaching about 1.1 m in height and 75 cm in width. Providing shade during periods of intense heat is recommended. The foliage is green with a strong gloss. Leaves are numerous, so the lower part of the bush remains well clothed. Under stress, plants are affected by black spot.
