“Queen of the Night” is a bush or landscape rose. The shrub has a full, bushy habit and flowers abundantly. From late spring until the first frosts it produces continuous heads of semi-maroon corollas with stripes of almost black-purple on a dark red background. Each branch carries a bouquet-like cluster with trusses of more than 10 semi-double, somewhat informal blooms, each with 10–12 petals, wavy edges, and 5–6 cm diameter. Each bloom is individual, with random black and purple strokes on a red background; the red ground color becomes increasingly purple over time. The center shows a small white eye and golden stamens. No fragrance.
