In recent years, Red Intuition has ranked among leading rose seedling sales. Introduced in 1999 (France, Delbard). The color range includes burgundy, garnet-red, crimson, and dark red with a lighter stripe; a striped pattern in pink-red tones with longitudinal, jagged red stripes on the outer side of the petal, visible on the inner side. Buds are tall, of classic form. Double flowers (about 45 petals) reach a diameter of up to 12 cm; with standard care, expect approximately 10 cm. Fragrance is light. Flowering is long and abundant. Typically one flower per stem. Bush height 100–120 cm; width about 70 cm. Shows high resistance to frost and diseases. Red Intuition is suitable for general-purpose use. In mixborders and single plantings, the striped coloration is most discernible at close range; in bedding schemes, at a distance it can read as uniform red. For clear visibility of the striping, plant in the foreground, near paths.
