More information
This bicolour, abundantly flowering rose, bred in England in 1971, almost immediately became widely grown in cultivation and is noted for its bicolour effect and ease of care. The cultivar name Red Gold reflects the coloration of the classic high-centered, double blooms, with red at the edges of the petals and a golden color at the center, producing a pronounced contrast. The shrub is tall and dense, clothed in glossy dark green foliage with a reddish tint. The variety is winter-hardy.
