R. davidii is a wild species rose with light pink flowers. Blooms are small to medium, single with about 4 to 8 petals, and produced in clusters. The average flower diameter is about 5 cm (2 inches). It blooms once in spring or summer. The plant is tall with an arching habit, has matte foliage with 7 to 11 leaflets, and typically reaches about 305 cm (10 feet) in height and 150 cm (5 feet) in width. It is reported hardy in USDA zones 6b through 9b.
