The mauve-red flowers of this rose deepen to almost purple with age. They are unbranched, about 6cm in diameter, with contrasting yellow stamens. The low, profusely branching bush with very glossy dark green foliage produces dense inflorescences throughout summer and autumn. This disease-resistant ground cover rose is often planted in public areas. It belongs to the Stektii series of rootstock roses and can be propagated by cuttings.
