This rose variety, named ‘Professor Victor Ivanov’, is a grandiflora type associated with the Department of Agroecology at the Nikitsky Botanical Garden. It forms tall, upright bushes with large, dark green, leathery foliage and can reach a height of up to 100 cm.
The buds open to light pink to blush flowers. Each bloom is about 10.8 cm in diameter, has a full form with around 30 petals, and a fruity scent. The flowers are produced repeatedly in flushes throughout the growing season.
The cultivar was bred in 2008 by Zinaida Konstantinovna Klimenko in Ukraine and by K. I. Zykov in the former USSR.
