More information
A recently introduced cultivar that marks a new direction in the breeding of English roses. Its appearance differs from other cultivars while retaining the classic, tightly clustered English rose blooms. Newly opened flowers are deep pink, almost crimson, and then fade to bright pink as they mature. The reverse side of the petals shows a yellow undertone. The petals are narrow and very dense. The shrub is upright; the foliage is dense, leathery, and glossy. Strong disease resistance. Flowers are borne in large clusters, with a long and abundant blooming period. Tea-rose fragrance of medium strength. The compact, branching habit suits borders and hedges. Named in honour of the Princess of Great Britain, patron of the charity Riding for the Disabled.
