More information
Princess Alice is a vigorous, very floriferous yellow rose. The small flowers with wavy petals are borne in large clusters (usually 7–20 per cluster) at the ends of non-splaying, long, straight, upright, prickly, rigid shoots. The blooms are golden-yellow, retain their colour well, and slowly fade to lemon-yellow. The shrub often remains in flower during periods when few other roses are blooming. Flowers last well as cut flowers. The bush shows good disease resistance, is strong, with bright green foliage and spiny stems.
Princess Alice is a low, upright rose with rounded, double yellow flowers bearing 22–28 petals. The flowers are medium-sized, lightly fragrant, and appear in large clusters throughout summer and autumn. The foliage is disease-resistant. Performs better in cool climates.
