Blooms are deep red, with outer petals almost black. Color holds well, except under the hottest sun. Flowers are goblet-shaped, with 35 petals, reaching 10 cm in diameter. The fragrance is light and spicy. Blooming is very abundant throughout the season. The shrub is vigorous, producing many basal shoots, which creates a dense, spreading habit. Reaches 1.2–1.5 m in height and about 1 m in width. Foliage is distinctive: green with a slight purple tint, matte and dense. Health is typical for a dark red rose. In unfavorable conditions it can be affected by black spot.
