Raised by Madame Hébert (France, 1828).
Gallica / Proven.
Pink with a purple tinge and lighter edges. Outer petals show lilac shading. Moderate fragrance. Large, very double flowers in small inflorescences; cup-shaped, wide-open, and flattened. Blooming is once in spring or summer.
Angular shoots armed with thorns/prickles. Medium-sized light green foliage. 5 leaflets.
Height 120 to 150 cm. Width 90 cm to 90 cm.
USDA zone 6b to 9b (default). Disease susceptibility: very resistant to black spot. Sets fruit after flowering.
