Precious Love — The Jones Catalogue. Created in memory of and in support of parents who have lost their children. Proceeds from sales of the variety go to the Benevolent Fund, which supports families when a child dies or when a child loses loved ones. The Benevolent Fund has more than 5,000 health, social care, education, ambulance services and volunteers. Patrons of the fund are Paul and Louise Woodbridge, who lost their children Betsy and William. Ann Chalmers, director of the fund, stated that Precious Love represents the love of Paul and Louise for their children and that the charity will benefit from the sale of the rose.

Fragrant clusters of salmon pink flowers; the bush is above average height. This new floribunda by hybridiser Gordon Kirkham has a distinctive red colour on young shoots; young foliage is semi glossy, maturing to dark green. Suitable for growing in the open ground or as a solitaire in a pot.
