More information
Patio rose, miniature rose, shrub — Pink Symphonie has been listed under these categories and won the top prize in the British rose trials. The flowers are soft pink, with a darker underside, semi-marginal. They appear in small clusters (rarely more than 3 in a cluster) all over the bush. The foliage is dark, disease-resistant, shiny, and the bush is cushion-shaped. It flowers abundantly and is very winter hardy. In central Europe it is often grown in containers, and the rose survives the winter in a container better than most other varieties.
Buds open into bright pink flowers with a light fragrance. The glass-shaped form quickly disappears as the flowers open into flat flowers. Flowering is very abundant, the bush is covered with flowers all season long. Disease resistant. The bush is compact, medium-sized.
