This is a descendant of Peace, not a sport. The flowers are large, with many long petals, twisted at the edges. The colouring is dark pink to light crimson. Flowers appear singly or in clusters of up to 5, suitable for cutting. Because of their large size, the blooms are often exhibited. They hold well in water. In the garden it shows strong growth and hardiness; it can grow on poor soils. The foliage is susceptible to rust. The shoots are thick and stiff; in hot climates, without pruning, they reach 2 m.
