Blooming extends from June to October; in mild climates, it can continue until frost. The Pinkfloyd species bears up to 40 dense petals per bud. As the flowers open, the petals curve slightly outward.
Appearance. The plant forms a shrub 1–1.5 metres tall. Each shoot carries 1 to 3 glass-shaped buds. The flowers reach up to 10 cm in diameter. The rosette is supported by a firm stem with bright green, glossy leaves.
