More information

This rose is named for the French painter Pierre Bonnard, active in the late 19th and early 20th century, whose works employed soft, muted tones. The bloom shows a cream base with greenish shading on the outermost petals, while the edges present purple or magenta pink. Flower form is globular and very full, carrying about 70 petals. The fragrance is soft and light. The plant demonstrates vigorous growth, with abundant and almost continuous flowering across the season. Disease resistance is reported as good for this variety, and the dedication reflects Bonnard’s preference for soft, muted colour palettes.
