More information

Peter’s Persica is a climbing Hybrid Hulthemia persica rose bred by Christopher H. Warner in the United Kingdom before 2022. It was introduced in the United Kingdom by Whartons Nurseries Ltd. in 2022 and in the Netherlands by Jan Spek Rozen BV in 2023, both under the name 'Peter’s Persica'. Flowers are yellow with orange-red flecks, have a mild fragrance, up to about 15 petals, and an average diameter of approximately 8 cm. Blooms are medium to large and semi-double, produced in flushes throughout the growing season. The plant has glossy foliage and can be trained as a climber. It reaches about 150 to 200 cm in height and up to 100 cm in width. The rose is also known under the synonyms CHEWgoldeneye and Shining High. The name honours Peter John Seabrook, a British gardening writer and television broadcaster.
