More information
Pax is a musk hybrid bred by Pemberton. Its buds are elongated and droop on long pedicels. They are creamy at first, but by the time the semi-marginal flowers open, they are pure white, with bright golden stamens in the centre. The petals are denser than in most musk roses. Flowers appear in clusters of 5-7 in the first bloom, and in autumn the number of flowers in a cluster can reach 30. The foliage is dark and shiny; young leaves have a crimson edge. Young growth is also crimson. The bush is spreading and, when grown on a support, can reach 4 m.
