More information
Luis Lens bred many tea-hybrid roses before later focusing on breeding musk roses. Pascali is among his creations. It is a vigorous white rose with dense petals, an upright bush habit, and notable disease resistance. The flowers are pure white with creamy tones between the petals. Buds open slowly, appearing singly at the ends of long shoots, which makes the variety suitable for cut flowers. The plant is tall and narrow, with large, dark foliage. Flowering is abundant.
An upright bush to 1 m tall, with dark green matte foliage. The flowers are nearly pure white, with a creamy base. Blooms throughout summer. Shows disease resistance.
Pascali received the title of the World’s Favourite Rose in 1991. Suitable for the mixed border. Greenish buds display a classic glass-like form, opening to lightly fragrant pure white blooms. For a tea-hybrid rose, disease and pest resistance is high, though, as with most in this class, it shows some susceptibility to black spot. Plant in full sun with good air circulation.
