More information
Winter-hardy variety. Buds are light pink; flowers are snow-white, semi-double, large, open, calyx-shaped, borne in numerous clusters of 3 to 15 blooms or more. The fragrance is fresh. Flowering begins about 10–14 days earlier than most comparable hybrids, is abundant, long-lasting, and repeats. It does not set hips. Bushes are very prickly, tall, spreading, and well-branched. Foliage is very large, glossy, rugose, and is practically unaffected by diseases and pests. In autumn it turns golden. Early variety suited for landscape compositions, specimen plantings, and dense flowering hedges.
