More information
Yellow blooms (approximately 30 petals) appear on shoots mostly singly, arising from long, pointed, ovate, yellow-orange buds. At full bloom, early flowers show the classic hybrid tea form with a high center, yellow in color. With age, the bloom opens to a bowl with slightly fluted petal edges, reveals the center, and fades to lemon yellow. The shrub carries bright green, glossy, coarse foliage. Flowering is nearly continuous throughout the season. Prickles are few in number.
