Tufted blooms (26–40 petals), borne in small inflorescences, cup-shaped, purple, with moderate fragrance. Blooms once in spring or summer. Light green foliage.

Flowers are variable, light pink shifting to intense purple with a black tinge, often within the same bloom, double, medium, of defined shape, solitary and in inflorescences. Bushes are medium-sized, dense.
