Old Yellow Scotch is a Hybrid Spinosissima rose with light yellow blooms. Flowers are small and have a semi-double to double form. It blooms once in spring or summer. The plant has an arching, bushy, and dense habit with small to medium green, dense foliage. It can reach up to 150 cm in height and 150 cm in width. It is very hardy and suitable for USDA zones 3b through 9b. The rose was bred by an unknown breeder before 1800 and was introduced in Canada by Percy H. Wright around 1950 as 'Scotch Yellow'.
