Buds pointed and elongated. Flowers bright orange-red, cup-shaped, medium-sized (7 cm), semi-double (21 petals), opening quickly, slightly fragrant, in inflorescences of 3–5 on strong pedicels. Leaves rounded, dark green, glossy, leathery. Bushes tall, upright. Flowering abundant and long (26–32 days in the first flowering). Winter-hardy. Resistant to fungal diseases. For groups. Introduced to the GBS in 1973.
