More information
The bicoloured flowers of Novaia are red with white, and the color separation is defined by the underside of the petals (visible when the bud starts to open) bearing a thin crimson stripe along the edge, while the rest of that surface is white. The top side of the petals is mostly crimson, with a small white spot at the base. For this reason, the bloom appears to darken with age. The petals are wavy. Flowering is very abundant; Novaia is used as a bed rose. Flowers appear in large, airy clusters of 8–15 pcs. The bush is strong, with thick shoots and medium-sized foliage, and is resistant to disease.
