More information
Night Light is a Masquerade-type rose, displaying a color shift from yellow to red as the blooms age, and grows as a vigorous shrub or a small pleached rose. Flowers open creamy yellow with pink-edged petals; the margins deepen to strawberry-raspberry over time and the blooms enlarge. The petals are distinctly wavy, creating a noticeable undulation and a characteristic appearance. Blooms are produced in trusses on long shoots, typically 5–15 per spray, and are rain-resistant. The shrub is tall and rigid, with large, dark, glossy foliage and densely thorned shoots.
This rose forms red-veined buds that open to dense yellow blooms which mature to orange-yellow. The flowers are double, with 27 petals, and have a light, sweet fragrance. They appear in clusters of 3–5 against large, dark, shiny foliage on a tall, spreading bush that in warm climates can reach 2.4 m in one season. Individual flowers reach 12 cm in diameter.
