More information
In 1980, W. Kordes & Sohne introduced three two-coloured floribundas: Hannah Gordon (1983), Nicole (1983) and Tabris (1986). They were highly similar, leading to frequent confusion. Hannah Gordon is recognized as a distinct cultivar, while Nicole and Tabris are treated as synonyms of the same cultivar. Nicole is the more common name as the cultivar was bred earlier. It is a bushy floribunda with large milky white flowers with a deep pink border. The short, wavy petals are paler on the reverse, hold colour well, and appear in clusters of 3-10. The bush is strong-growing, spreading, with disease-resistant foliage (apart from occasional black spot lesions in cold climates), and spiny shoots.
Tall, strong-growing bush, very prickly.
