More information
A velvet-red floribunda that sells particularly well where Meillan has a large percentage of the market. Niccolo Paganini shows strong performance in warmer climates, as its flowers withstand heat better than many red roses, and it blooms profusely. The petals are short but numerous; the blooms open quickly and retain colour and shape for a long time. Blooms appear in clusters of 5–12, sometimes more, on a compact, disease-resistant bush with large, dark foliage. Used as a bed rose.
Among dark red, medium-height cultivars, this variety is noted for flower quality. Velvety and fragrant, the blooms have a regular form and are borne in large inflorescences. Bushes reach up to 80 cm in height, with a dense, even habit. The variety blooms abundantly and for a long period and is characterised by high winter resistance. Suitable for arrays, mixed groups, and plantings where flower quality is important.
