The apricot or apricot blend Floribunda rose was bred by W. Kordes & Sons in Germany in 2007 and introduced in the United Kingdom by Mattocks Roses / Notcutts as 'New Beginnings' the same year. This rose is characterized by apricot or apricot blend and peach pink flowers with a mild fragrance. The blooms are double, consisting of 17-25 petals, and form in clusters. It blooms in flushes throughout the season.
The plant has a compact growth habit with glossy foliage. It is suitable for USDA zones 6b through 9b. This rose can be used for beds, borders, or as a container rose. For spring pruning, it's recommended to remove old canes, dead or diseased wood, and cut back crossing canes. In warmer climates, the remaining canes should be cut back by about one-third, while more extensive pruning might be necessary in colder areas. It is registered in the United Kingdom with Patent No: 8091, Application No: 5/2103.
