This park rose can also be used as a groundcover rose. Buds open slowly. Flowers are deep pink with a lighter center, about 8 cm across when fully open. Inflorescences bear 3–4 blooms; double, around 70 petals; the center is loose; petal edges are rounded with a central bulge; fragrance is weak. Foliage is dense, dark green, semi-glossy. Spines are moderate. The shrubs are spreading, up to 100–120 cm high and about 120 cm wide. Flowering is abundant and recurrent, from June until frost. Winter hardiness and disease resistance are good. Suitable for group and single plantings.
