‘My Dad’ is a red Floribunda rose with mild fragrance. Blooms have 26 to 40 petals and an average diameter of about 9 cm (3.5 inches). They are medium to large, full, and produced in large clusters, flowering in flushes throughout the season. The plant has an upright growth habit with large, glossy, dark green foliage and reaches about 120 cm (47 inches) in height. It is suitable for USDA hardiness zones 6b through 9b. The rose was bred by W.E. Bossom in the United Kingdom in 1997. Its registration name is BOSelftay and it is also known as Connie (floribunda, Bossom, 1997) and Connie Crook.
