Dark red, open, calyx-formed, moderately brushed flowers (at the dewlap a midrib is visible with bright yellow stamens, turning brown as they open) with a strong fragrance on an upright, dewy shrub with medium-green, matte foliage. Occasional repeat flowering late in the season.
