More information
This rose has pointed buds that open into dark red flowers with very dense petals. In summer, the blooms open quickly and do not retain the goblet form for long. Fully open flowers are initially cupped, then flatten, consisting of 35 large petals, very fragrant. The foliage is dark, matte, leathery. The variety is very tall, which makes Mr Lincoln unsuitable for flowerbeds, but suitable for placement at the back of a flower bed. A commonly grown variety in regions with a Mediterranean climate.
