Very large, branching shrub. It is among the largest English Roses. Flowers are medium-sized, with non-wavy petals; the inner petal surfaces are copper–orange–pink, the centers yellow, and the reverses pink. Red stamens with golden anthers provide contrast. The fragrance is light, musky, and clove-like.
