More information

Morden Sunrise is the first winter-hardy yellow rose in the Parkland series, suitable for free-form plantings. Introduced in 1999. Fragrant flowers are yellow or yellow-orange, with pink tones appearing in cold weather, and they bloom throughout the summer. The shrub is upright, about 70 cm tall and roughly the same in width. Flowers are approximately 8 cm in diameter, semi-double, and carried in clusters of 4–8. Foliage is dark green and glossy. The cultivar shows resistance to black spot, powdery mildew, and rust. Withstands winters in zone 3 without shelter. Roots well from cuttings.
