More information
This cultivar was bred by Gareth Fryer. At its first bloom under observation, an unusual seedling was distinguished among thousands of seedlings within the breeding population. The flowers are large in size, goblet-shaped, and strongly fragrant on the plant. At opening the colouring is a deep lilac-blue, with purple strokes visible on the tips of the petals; as time passes the tone fades a little, and the flower presents a silvery-lilac appearance. In comparison with many hybrid tea roses of similar colour, the plant forms a vigorous bush habit, produces abundant bloom, and demonstrates disease resistance.
