Molodost Mira is a medium red hybrid tea rose. The blooms are coral‑pink with an orange hue, yellow at the base, and deep coral‑pink on the outer side. Flowers are large (about 10–11 cm in diameter), double, with up to about 50 petals, and have a strong fragrance. They are usually borne singly on straight, sturdy stems in a defined, classic hybrid tea form.
The shrub is vigorous, strong, and spreading, with dense, dark green foliage. Flowering is abundant and occurs repeatedly in flushes through the season.
The cultivar is suitable for use in groups, borders, bedding, and for cut flowers. It is suitable for USDA hardiness zones 6b to 9b.
Molodost Mira was bred in the former USSR by Vera Nikolaevna Klimenko around 1955. Its parentage includes the hybrid tea rose ‘Peace’ (Meilland, 1935) crossed with an unknown seed parent, using pollen from a mixture of ‘Crimson Glory’ and ‘Poinsettia’.
