More information

A modern groundcover rose or shrub, suitable for landscape, mixborder, or mass plantings. It is a Rosa wichurana hybrid, with fine dark green glossy foliage and high disease resistance. The blooms are dark pink when open, rounded, semi-marginal, fade slightly with age, and become spotted in rain. Golden stamens are sometimes visible in the center of the flower. Flowers are produced in clusters of 3–15, first at the tips of branches and then along the entire length of the shoot, so that in full bloom the bush carries flowers from the top to the ground. Petals drop very cleanly; the variety reblooms quickly and flowers until frost. Young foliage has a red tinge. The variety is very winter-hardy and reaches up to 2 m.
