Damask, Damask Perpetual, Portland. Light pink to pink blooms with satiny petals. Fragrant. Average flower diameter 10 cm. Large, very double (26–40 petals), with ruffled centers that may reveal stamens. Flowers in spring or summer; repeat-blooming. Height 100 to 200 cm. Upright, compact shrub. Grayish, toothed foliage. Used in small gardens, borders, and containers. Combines with lilac and purple-toned plants in plantings. USDA hardiness zone 6b to 9b (default). Origin unknown.
