MINI-EDEN ROSE® is a new cultivar in the ROMANTICA® rose family and the miniature counterpart of EDEN ROSE®. Every three years since 1976, the World Federation of Rose Societies (World Federation of Rose Societies) meets to select a rose on the basis of proposals from different countries. In 2006, the international jury selected EDEN ROSE® (Meilland) as part of this process.
This variety produces bright pink blooms with densely ruffled petals. It flowers heavily from summer until late autumn and is fragrant. Its bloom habit allows placement even in very small gardens without large planting areas.
This new variety has a wide range of uses: it can be trained as a climbing rose on small trellises, used in the construction of rose arches, or grown in large containers for balconies and terraces. The miniature Eden rose is also used as a low-growing plant in narrow beds or grown as a small shrub.
