This rose belongs to the range of “blue” roses. Petals arranged in an antique form open from crimson buds. The colour is a rather dark mauve, sometimes shifting to dark purple. When fully open, it reveals bright yellow stamens. Minerva has the sweet fragrance typical of roses of this colour. Blooming in clusters, the flowers are long-lasting, and the colour becomes more intense as flowering progresses. The cultivar shows good resistance to disease. The foliage is large, green, and matte.
