More information
Meyan introduced ‘Michka’ as a variegated rose. As it seldom exceeds 2 m in height and has a branchy, stiff habit, it is more commonly grown as a grandiflora or shrub than as a variegated rose. Blooms are deep yellow with occasional pink flushes, fading from the tips to cream. The petals are distinctly wavy. Flowers are borne in clusters of 3–7; flowering is very abundant, but rain damages the blooms, so the display depends on weather conditions. Foliage is large; thorns are also very large and robust. The bush is vigorous and shows disease resistance.
