Shrub with large flowers shaped like a densely filled bowl, orange with yellow strokes, showing yellow–orange tonal variation from the beginning to the end of flowering (the site’s authors compare the coloration to the “grisaille” technique, in which an image is formed by the displacement of two close shades). The foliage is glossy; the scent is fruity, moderate. Height 90 cm–1 m. Reported disease resistance.
