More information
Michelangelo belongs to Meillan's Romantika rose series and features an old-fashioned bloom form with a strong fragrance. This tea-hybrid rose is strongly scented and maintains a traditional flower shape. The blooms are a pure golden color, gradually fading to lemon yellow or cream at the edges. They are calyx-shaped, full and densely petaled, appearing singly or in clusters of up to 7. The plant performs across a wide range of climates, hot and cold. Its shiny, dark green foliage shows disease resistance, though black spot may sometimes appear. Michelangelo is suitable for cutting. Fragrance is intense.
