Miniature rose, suitable for patio plantings. Blooms are dark red; fragrance is absent to weak. Medium, wavy-form flowers (17–25 petals), carried in small clusters. Flowers in flushes. Medium-sized, upright shrub. Foliage is medium-green, semi-glossy, and not large. Suitable for beds and borders, containers, exhibition, or general garden use. Deadhead spent blooms to encourage repeat flowering. Pruning: in spring remove old, dead, or diseased wood and thin overlapping stems; in warmer climates shorten remaining branches by about one-third; in colder regions prune shorter (harder).
