More information
Marmalade Skies is commonly described by nurseries as tangerine in colour; in practice it is vermilion, slightly paler on the reverse, and the blooms retain their colour for a long time, shifting to salmon pink just before fading. The flowers are double yet open, cup-shaped, with central stamens. The plant is upright, with large prickles and dark green foliage. Marketed as a low rose, but in hot climates it reaches about 2 m in height. Requires protection against powdery mildew and black spot.
