Marlene Charell is a shrub rose with creamy-pink blooms showing a light copper-apricot cast; the flowers open slowly and have a regular form. The blooms are large, double, with an apple-like fragrance. Not damaged by rain. The shrub is upright and bushy; foliage is green, bright, and glossy. The cultivar shows disease resistance.
