The low, knee-high shrub bears grass-green foliage. Reddish young leaves contrast with the densely branched plant and with its creamy white or soft pink flowers. The intensity of pink changes with the weather, while the flower centre remains strongly coloured. The flowers are fragrant. Because of its fragrance and continuous flowering, this old polyanthus rose remains in cultivation.
