The rose is named after the birthplace of Georges Delbar. The blooms are blood burgundy with a deep, velvety colour. In mass plantings, combine it with roses of lighter red colouring. The flowers are 5–7 cm in diameter and exude a light fragrance. The foliage is glossy, dark green with a bronze cast.
