More information
Semi-hollow lilac or lavender flowers, with a white stripe on some petals, a whitish-green “crescent” at the petal attachment point, and a slight spicy fragrance, are produced in numerous inflorescences of grey-purple buds throughout the season. An individual flower lasts 2–3 days on the bush. The bush is very vigorous, branching, spreading, with numerous reddish-brown prickles. The foliage is leathery and glossy.
Magic Carpet bears small, spicy-scented lavender flowers arranged along the entire length of the arched branches.
